eBuddy Messenger
In order to start using eBuddy Messenger, an account will have to be first created. It is a rather painless process in which you must set your username, password and email so don’t worry about a heavy set up process. Next, all of the instant messaging accounts you’d like to have synced to the Android app must be added. You can found them under the “Accounts” tab. It is a huge list that includes the most popular platforms out there such as Yahoo, MSN, AIM, GTalk, MySpace, ICQ, Hyves, and Facebook.
From this point onwards, everything will go smoothly. An updated list of Online and Offline contacts from all of the platforms you’ve added should be seen by you when the “Buddies” tab is hit. The interface of eBuddy Messenger is simple yet intuitive and informative. You can see if someone is available to chat with or away, their image/icon and the messaging program they used to log in.
The “Chats” tab will be very familiar to Android users because it has a very similar interface to the standard Android text messaging app. All current conversations are displayed by a list and by selecting a chat your responses are displayed in a right bubble while the messages of other people are on the left. Multiple conversations are easily managed with eBuddy Messenger. Switch from one conversation to the other is very simple due to a very convenient feature provided by eBuddy Messenger. Just swipe your finger left and right and that’s it!
All in all, the easy to navigate chat interface, unified buddy list and support for many popular IM platforms make eBuddy Messenger a winner and one of the best IM Android apps out there.
