The world can be such a funny place at times. The iPhone 5 has not been out officially and we are already receiving information about its successor… so back on track, will we see an iPhone 4S or the iPhone 5? It is not yet known.  So after we saw holographic concepts of iPhones from 2020 and found that the iPhone 6 could have a display manufactured by Sharp, now it is the turn of the processor to join the speculation.
It seems that the 2012 generation of Apple’s phones could incorporate a processor created by the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC) company. At the moment, the Taiwanese brand has the best chances to become partners with the Cupertino giant as they already are producing the CPU Apple A6 variants. It seems only logical and normal that Apple would up the game with their iPhone 6. As you may already know, most rumors make it a sure deal so it’s very likely the iPhone 5 will sport an A5 processor, thus the next terminal will have to significantly raise the stakes. Amidst this chaos of rumors, one thing is certain though – we don’t have any idea yet if the next processor will be a quad core CPU, but considering how Apple always offered top processing power in smaller packages, even an advanced dual core CPU will be enough.
Keep in mind the fact that one of the largest customers of Samsung has been Apple. The problem is that if the rumors are true, it means that Apple for their processor needs will stop using the services of Samsung and maybe the gap between the two companies will be bigger than we thought. A future collaboration between the two giants is certainly at risk, especially if we remember the lawsuit drama between them. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the iPhone 6!
