It is a known fact that the in the U.S., the top mobile phones
usually have other names than those in Europe and even different names
depending on the operator that they adopt (Galaxy S has 4 different
names). Well, you should be happy to find out that we just learned a few
new names of several HTC mobile phones. Keep in mind that these models
are, for the moment, destined for the only European market. Let’s find
out more!
The newcomer terminals are: HTC Amuse, HTC Amaze, HTC Dynamo and HTC
Valiant, for which the Taiwanese manufacturer has already obtained the
trademark from the European authority dealing with this issue.
Unfortunately, besides their names, little else is known. The
descriptions of these devices are identical and generic, so there aren’t
any details about the hardware design features of these models. As
nothing specific is mentioned about the would-be handsets, if we were to
speculate, we can assume that one of these models is the HTC Eternity,
the phone boasting the giant 4.7-inch screen and Windows Phone 7.
Another name could be associated with the HTC Puccini tablet, but
here we are talking primarily about handsets, so we expect to see the
HTC Bliss and HTC Glamour, the alleged models for the feminine public,
among these new European terminals. Maybe a brand new and exciting LTE
handset among them? It could be a nice surprise, wouldn’t it? The
Holiday and Lead Android models are the contenders.
All in all, a “red herring” application with OHIM has never been
filed by HTC so I’m sure that these codenames will become the actual
names of the phones. Are you excited about HTC’s new smartphones? Let’s
hope we’ll know more details about the hardware specs and OS of these
newcomers. Stay tuned for more updates!
