Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Wi-Fi GT-P3110: Root and ClockworkMod Recovery

If you’re looking for a way to root your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3110, you’re in luck–we have a step-by-step guide on how to root your Android tablet. XDA Developers senior member nycbjr managed to create a rooting method for your Android tablet. This rooting guide lets you root your tablet in two different methods: via Heimdall or ClockworkMod Recovery.
Just like Odin, Heimdall is designed to flash firmware on Galaxy S phones. The tool also works on other Android devices such as Samsung Captivate, Samsung Fascinate, Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung Epic 4G, Samsung Galaxy Tab, and many more. What’s more is that the tool is a cross-platform opensource tool and you can use it on your Linux, Mac, and Windows PC.
Aside from flashing ROMs, Heimdall can also flash kernels that help you root your tablet. You may also use the ClockworkMod Recovery tool to flash a rooting package and easily root your tablet.
If you’re itching to gain root access on your Android tablet, read on to learn how to root your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3110 via Heimdall or ClockworkMod Recovery.
