  • Download the TWRP Recovery installer package (, md5sum: 204dca9718e2af3f248c1607c6183a8f) from the following:
  • Backup all personal data on your phone to make sure you have a copy of your personal data (e.g., contacts, SMS, MMS, Internet settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and the like) in case the procedure in this guide erases such data.

  1. Copy the file to your tablet’s SD card.
  2. Switch off your tablet.
  3. Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery. You can do this by pressing and holding down the Volume Down and Power buttons. As soon as you see text scrolling at the top left of the tablet, push the Volume Up button to enter Recovery Mode.
  4. Select Install ZIP From SD Card.
  5. Select Choose ZIP From SD Card. Locate the downloaded file and select it.
  6. Confirm the installation by selecting Yes on the screen that follows. Wait for a couple of seconds for the recovery package to be installed.
  7. After the installation process is complete, head back to the main recovery menu.
  8. Reboot your tablet by selecting Reboot System Now.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed TWRP Touch Recovery on your ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101.
