Toshiba is working on a thinner and slim Android HoneyComb tablet that will be an alternative to Toshiba Thrive. This slate will be designed with a 10 inch edge to edge screen and it will be thick enough to provide room for full-sized USB, HDMI-out, and SD card ports.
You may remember that the Toshiba was the first PC manufacture who gave the tight competition to PC manufacturers with the launch of Windows CE based Journ E Touch Tablet in September 2009 four month before the release of Apple iPhone. Since 2009, IFA press conference has become an event at which the company launched the tablet of loaded features, At IFA 2010, Toshiba released Toshiba Tablet Folio that was one the first tablets powering with Nividia Tegra 2 Processor.
Now IFA 2011 is going to start from this week and we are sure that Toshiba will stick to its IFA launch history and will come with a tablet that has something special and innovative.
Though the complete details of this new Tablet of 2011 are still a mystery for us yet we have a few details for you. According to some rumors, it is powered with a 1.5-GHz processor and will look stunning just because of a brushed-metal chrome frame and a 1.5-GHz processor. It is surrounded by a chrome frame crossed by a central groove.
It is speculated that this new Toshiba Tablet will pack with all the requirements therefore it will have the power to bear down its competitor’s tablets.
