Features
The Bold 9930 comes with an elegant candy bar design with a four row QWERTY keyboard with the classic chiseled key faces that’s been a mark on Blackberry since ages. It carries the premium expensive head-turner look with intelligent selection and use of high quality plastics and metal highlights. The 2.8 display is in a landscape mode which allows for more text per line on the display. Below the screen the four standard buttons surround the BlackBerry’s iconic optical track pad. The keyboard on this BlackBerry is well spaced and sized, and responds very well to the fingers. There are not many improvements to the OS 7.0 and it comes with the standard features and software that accompanies all BlackBerry smartphones. The touch screen on the BlackBerry 9930 adds a new refreshing dimension to the classic looking phone. The camera software is not much different than before and daylight photography and 720p HD video recording gives it a definite step up from its older siblings. There are Verizon applications also bundled with the device, software like the VZ Navigator, Backup Assistant, V CAST Music and Videos, V CAST Song ID, VZWTones.

Verdict
If you are deciding to go for a BlackBerry for yourself, then, the Bold 9930 is definitely the smartphone for you. The phone sports premium design features and has with improvements in overall entertainment value, it becomes attractive to those not using this set for business only. The Bold 9930 comes with the NFC support for mobile payments. There are some issues with the BlackBerry also, however minor, like the phone has a fixed focus instead of an auto focus. The Phone is a great option for those who are already using a BlackBerry device; however, perhaps this phone does not do enough to woo customers from Android or Apple. The price is comparable with the Dual Core processor driven or $G LTE enabled smartphones.
