Samsung Galaxy S II
Known under the codename SGH-i917, the Samsung Focus smartphone is slightly thicker than the Galaxy S II, and now it seems that we should expect a SGH-i937 model to follow in its footsteps. Bluetooth SIG offers us new hints regarding the operating system run by the new smartphone. Apparently, it will run Windows Phone Mango with a corresponding Bluetooth profile for this OS. In addition, the phone appears on the list of the guys from Occasional Gamers. The list includes Windows Phone 7 phones that are running their games.
Also, note that the Galaxy S II measures 8.5 mm in thickness and comes with 1 GB RAM, 16/32 GB internal memory and a dual core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. Other specs include an 8 megapixel camera with LED Flash, a 4.3 inch Super-AMOLED screen, 2 megapixel front facing camera and DLNA. Hopefully these features will be retained on the new model with Mango OS onboard. If not, maybe we can expect the specs of the Samsung Galaxy Z to pop up. The success of the galaxy S II is fantastic judging by the latest sales number so it is safe to assume that Samsung want to replicate this achievement. As a result, the Windows Phone version of the Samsung Galaxy S II is born! Stay tuned for more news!
