Avid BlackBerry users will surely be delighted to know that RIM (Research in Motion) has officially unveiled its newest models of BlackBerry smartphones. The first one will be called as the Bold 9790 while the other one will be dubbed as the Curve 9380.
The BlackBerry Bold 9790 will flaunt a 2.4 inch capacitive touch screen high-res display at 480 x 360p screen resolution. It will also be equipped with 8GB of internal storage, up to 32GB of expandable micro SD, 768MB of Memory, Bluetooth, NFC technology, 640 x 480p VGA video recording and a 5 mega pixel back facing camera with LED flash. The phone will be part of RIM’s premium line of BlackBerry Bold handsets and will be showcasing its BlackBerry OS 7 and full QWERTY keyboard. The .45 inch thick phone will highlight its compact and lightweight form.
The BlackBerry Curve 9380, on the other hand, will be dubbed as RIM’s very first BlackBerry Curve with an all-touch display. It will showcase its 3.2 inch 188 ppi 480 x 360 touch screen along with its social feeds, pre-installed Facebook and Twitter apps, fast BlackBerry Browser, Near Field Communication, Augmented Reality, intuitive virtual keypad, optical trackpad, A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash. And just like the Bold 9790, the Curve 9380 handset will also be powered by RIM’s BlackBerry OS 7. It will be equipped with 512MB of RAM, 512MB of internal storage, up to 32GB of microSD storage and will sport an 806 MHz processor.
Both of the phones will be made available worldwide and can be purchased at accredited BlackBerry stores. There’s no exact release date but the recent reports have stated that the handsets will be out by the last week of November. If you’re at Indonesia, then you can get one for 510 USD. That’s if you’re willing to wait until the 26th of this month.
