Things have changed since Meizu launched the M8 phone which is obviously seen as an iPhone clone. Now the company produces independent models that can avoid the comparison with the Apple terminal and perform admirably in tests. This is also the case for the Meizu M9. Let’s have a quick look at Meizu M9!
We cannot see a slight resemblance to the Samsung Galaxy S II regarding the frontal design and the obvious resemblance to the iPhone 4. The phone is made of matte plastic and the material is soft touch and with high grip, so you will not lose grasp of this terminal from your hands too easily. M9 measures 11.2 mm in thickness and weighs 123 grams, 14 grams less so to the iPhone 4. The screen of the new Meizu model is a capacitive multitouch TFT LCD with a diagonal of 3.5 inches and a resolution of 960 x 64 pixels. The display behaves admirably and its only problem is the viewing angles. Thus, as soon as you slightly tilt the smartphone screen, the visibility is reduced. A plus is that the user can easily view the content in full sunlight.
This Chinese terminal comes with a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, providing satisfactory results, according to Mobile Review. Its level is comparable to that of Desire, so the results are mediocre for the summer of 2011 and we should not expect too much from its photos. The battery of the M9 smartphone is a 1370 mAh Li-Ion unit, which offered around 21-22 hours, 3-5 hours of music, pushmail with two activated accounts, one hour surfing the web and some tens of minutes of calls. As a result, it will deliver a normal day of usage power. Meizu M9 boasts an ARM Cortex A8 processor clocked at 1 GHz, 512 MB RAM and 512 MB internal memory.
