And I bet you are probably wondering where is that leak coming from!
Things are going smooth for Apple as they are preparing the most
anticipated launch of the year. Well, you should be happy to find out
that the chances of seeing the first picture with the iPhone 5 just
increased dramatically because we learned that the handset has already
reached the beta testing phase. Apparently, the new generation terminal
took entered testing on July 6, according to the usual rumors.
Let’s not jump to conclusions and forget something though. Seeing what happened to Foxconn’s employees who provided information about the design of the iPad 2 before its official launch (18 months’ imprisonment or more), it is certainly not attractive to leak information about the next iPhone or iPad. What is more, this is especially true when we think about the Canadian who risked 30 years in prison for providing sales information on the iPhone and iPad to the speculators on Wall Street.
As for the iPhone, nothing has changed in terms of specs. The rumors do not bring anything new: the processor still is the A5 dual core, the screen is bigger as well as the storage. Other features include the 8 megapixel camera and the fact that the terminal is running IOS 5. The new iPhone has been offered to testers as a prototype so that they can run different test applications and software on these models.
So what’s happens next? Once the beta testing is completed, the orders to component suppliers are next as well as the start of mass production and deliveries. Given the recent speculation about the overheating of the Apple A5 processor, it will be interesting to see how the Cupertino giant has coped with this problem and, of course, what solutions were found in the process.
