Instagram For Android
A few weeks ago, Instagram started accepting sign-ups from people who want to be notified first when it goes live on Google Play. True to their word, those who signed up for notification actually received an email informing them that the app went live and ready for download. And to see if we who signed up are the first ones to download, I headed immediately to Google Play seconds after I received email and I was the 32nd person to give a feedback for Instagram.
You might be wondering why this app has become the most popular photo-sharing app in the iOS world and for sure it will capture the same in the Android market. So, let’s try to get into its features a little deeper. So, first thing you will enjoy is the long list of feeds from your friends or people you follow. Just like in the iOS platform, Instagram for Android lists down the most recent uploads from the people you know around the network and just like Facebook, you can like and comment on photos. The second feature you will be enjoying are the filters and there are just a lot of them you can use or render on your photos. This is so far the best feature you can enjoy from this free app.
Another feature you might find really helpful is the news. It functions like the feed but it is in separate page. In here you will be able to see the comments and likes made by your friends or the people you follow. So, you will be updated what’s happening in your network or what others are saying about a certain photo. The profile would also be another feature you will love most. You can showcase your skills and talents in your profile. You can also manage the people you follow or those who follow you. Plus you can view all your photos in a grid or list.
So far, Instagram for Android is enjoying a warm welcome from Android device owners including celebrities and popular people we know. If you are a webmaster, you should have heard who Matt Cutts is, he is using Instagram too and actually very active. The point is, Instagram is yet another community which you really would love to belong. And if you haven’t downloaded and installed this app yet, there is no reason to hold back as it is offered for free. What is there to lose? This is the link to Instagram on Google Play.
