Within 48 hours since Instagram For Android was released it has already seen two updates in a row. Today, it’s enjoying its third version this month (version 1.0.3), although the updates were minor. But anyhow, it’s good to know that the developer behind this very useful photo-sharing app is doing everything just to keep everything good and running. There were actually some flaws in the first version which was addressed by the second but it seems the devs weren’t satisfied so another update was pushed putting Instagram for Android on its third version.
There are actually two ways you can install the Instagram 1.0.3 on your Android device, first is by going directly to Google Play and install the app from there, and second is to download the APK file, put it into your microSD card and run it from there. That’s as far as installation is concerned. But don’t worry, for those who are actually new to using Android we have included two short tutorials here.
1. Launch Play Store app from your device.
2. Search for Instagram or you can just browse through Top Free apps list as it is currently at the 4th spot of the most popular free apps.
3. Tap on Instagram. If this is your first to install it then you will see “Download” button. If you are simply updating it then you will be seeing two buttons– “Update” and “Uninstall”.
4. Tap on either “Download” for first-timers or “Update” for those who are updating the app on their device. Once the download is complete, your device will automatically update the version of Instagram that’s currently installed on your device.
5. Let your handset do the work and wait for a bit. It won’t take long before it will be over.
