It is a wonderful world we live in. After imitating iDevices and the
accessories, it seems that now the Chinese are turning their attention
to cloning the Apple stores. Several images have surfaced on the web
depicting 3 stores from the capital city, Beijing, which are built
exactly like an Apple Store. The internal positioning of products,
furniture Accessories, promotional materials on the walls, accessories
featuring product information, the presentation method of products, a
mini Genius Bar, Apple’s logo over the entrance to the store, the “Apple
Store” name and lastly, the identical T-shirts to those worn by
employees of the company Apple stores. All these components are
reproduced with such fidelity and attention to detail that they are able
to fool anyone.
These stores are equipped with Apple products and all f them are built in Beijing in close proximity to one another. But this is not the best part. The interesting part is that the employees seem to be convinced that they are really working for a real Apple store and customers most likely leave with the same impression when, in reality, we are talking about the “clone” of an Apple store.
Owners of these stores have banned taking pictures inside them but the entire planet will know within days what happens in the country where Apple had a profit of $ 3.8 billion in Q3 2011. What do you think about this situation? Did you see it coming? I expected that any product of any company to be cloned in China but I didn’t expect Apple’s stores to be cloned without any shame. But, as it seems, nothing is impossible is China. On the other hand, it is a good thing the fact that they are truly selling Apple’s products and not some cheap rip-offs. Stay tuned for more news and updates!
