Never heard of Pegatron? Well, you should. Pegatron is one of the
biggest Asian companies that made a name for themselves in hardware
production. The company is involved in the development of two major
products: the iPhone 5, according to DigiTimes, and the PlayStation 4,
according to the latest rumors. We got used to Foxconn to handle the
production of Apple’s terminals, but Pegatron is the company that
produced the CDMA version Apple’s iPhone for Verizon, for example.
Returning to the information from DigiTimes, it seems that Pegatron
have received orders from Apple for about 15 million next generation
phones. Whether they will be called iPhone 4S or iPhone 5, these
terminals will be delivered in September and we also have a few details
about the handsets. You should be happy to find out that Apple’s next
phone will be quite a leap in the performance department. This is
certainly expected as most Apple’s sequels have improved upon their
predecessors mostly in the hardware department.
For starters, the new Apple phone will be a major upgrade to the iPhone 4 as it is equipped with a dual core A processor and a 8-megapixel camera. These are the rumors that we hear most often when it comes to the iPhone 5, it is true… Obviously, the eternal “edge to edge” screen that we saw in so many concepts also appears in the equation and by now that we feel that the iPhone 5 is already out.
There is also a very big change for Apple users. The biggest change will however be the disappearance of the physical Home button… Whether these details are real or not, we will certainly find out the truth in September! Until now, keep in mind that you should take these rumors with a pinch of salt.
