A new 3D Android camera phone – Sharp Aquos

How do we know when new models are arriving on the market? Well, it’s pretty simple because all new smartphone models must follow a few steps before making their market debut. Before reaching the market, new terminals must make a visit to the FCC U.S. authorities for approval and thus we can make contact with new phone models like the Sharp AQUOS with a 3D camera. The new Android smartphone will be a rival for the LG Optimus 3D and HTC EVO 3D models, which will bring 3D Capture to the mass public. The lusting over the phone that was releases only in Japan is over as Sharp plans to release their new model on a global scale. Great news indeed, isn’t it?

Unfortunately, specific details are not known at the time. Although the exact Sharp model that came to FCC is not stated, it is most likely the AQUOS IS12SH, an Android smartphone that was already released in Japan a few weeks ago. The handset is running the Android operating system and incorporates two 8 megapixel camera in the back, which will achieve the famous three-dimensional capture, the highlight of this new phone. The frontal side of Sharp’s new smartphone is covered by a 4.2-inch qHD display and the smartphone comes with full connectivity options, while the remaining specifications remain a mystery.
There is something to ponder on though. The version tested by FCC supports CDMA connectivity so it makes us wonder whether the terminal will arrive in Europe this summer or should we just be thankful for the new HTC and LG phone that boast similar features?
