How to Track Flight Schedule on iOS – FlightBoard application

This application is mandatory for the personals that use the air travel frequently. This application allows you to track the flight schedule to get the correct time of arrival to pick someone or to know the timing of departure of your flight. It can’t predict the delay of flights but it will show the normal timing of that flight. There are many other applications but the application “FLIGHTBOARD” provides you the facility to quick search the flights from the particular airport. It displays in style so it is more user interactive than other apps out there. This application is available only for the iphone and ipad users.

To get it on your phone follow these steps:-

1. Download the application “Flightboard” on your phone.
2. Install the application.
3. Then you will be prompted with the dialog box asking you to allow access to your location so allow it.
4. Then it will automatically find the nearby airports.
5. After getting airport information tap on the airport you want to select.
6. Then you will have the similar look of the board you generally see in the airport.
7. In the right hand side you can toggle between the arrival and departures.
8. The flights are organized in alphabetical order according to the destination.

Features of this application:-

• You can select the flight by tapping on it and it will show you the extra information about that flight.
• By clicking on the flight again will bring you back to the multi-coloured menu of all the flights schedule. And you can also send the extra information of the flight via e-mail so that you can refer it afterwards.
• This application lacks in some of the extra features such as push alerts for the change of flight schedule and also the interactive map view is also missing.

As this application has the feature of quick search of the flights it compensates all others. So overall it’s a very good and preferable application.
